If a programme is appropriate, a plan is set with suitable intensity, supervision, and monitoring.

  4. 04

    Review and Progress

Progress is reviewed regularly, and the plan is adjusted or paused if your clinical needs change.

Cardiac rehabilitation

Structured Support After a Cardiac Event

Selected medically stable patients following a myocardial infarction (heart attack) or angioplasty may benefit from a professionally supervised rehabilitation pathway, when their treating clinician considers it appropriate.

Principles We Follow

  • Obtain relevant medical history and input from the treating clinician.
  • Assess suitability before any exercise begins.
  • Use appropriately qualified professionals.
  • Apply risk-based monitoring and escalation procedures.
  • Use ECG or telemetry monitoring only when indicated, available, and operated by trained personnel.
  • Establish clear emergency and referral pathways.
  • Suspend activity and escalate care when clinically indicated.

Home-based programmes

Support Where You Are Most Comfortable

Home visits and home-based exercise support may be arranged according to your clinical needs, where you live, and the scope of the professionals available. We will explain what is possible for you before anything is agreed.

Common Questions

Is Milligra Wellness a gym?
No. Programmes start with an appropriate assessment and are planned around your health needs, with professional supervision suited to your situation.
Do I need my doctor's approval?
For many people, especially after a cardiac event, during pregnancy, or with a long-term condition, input from your treating clinician is part of deciding whether a programme is suitable.
Can I exercise during pregnancy?
Many people can, but it depends on your pregnancy and your obstetric care team's advice. Antenatal and postpartum support is offered only where it is considered appropriate.
What happens if I feel unwell during a session?
Activity is stopped and care is escalated according to the agreed emergency and referral pathway. In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
Are sessions available at home?
Home-based support may be arranged depending on your clinical needs, location, and professional availability.
